Creamed Corn

  • Author: Meagan

Mom’s!  Make it! Another addition to rib night and even though I doubled the recipe, with 4 adults and 2 kids, there was hardly any left…enjoy!

Creamed Corn

4 oz. (1/2 package) cream cheese

1 T. butter

1/4 c. milk

1/2 t. salt

1/4 t. freshly ground pepper

2 cans (12 oz/341 mL) kernel corn, drained well

Combine the cream cheese, butter, milk, salt and pepper in a medium pot and heat gently on medium-low, stirring constantly with a whisk until the mixture is smooth and well blended.

Continue to heat and whisk until the sauce is hot, then add in all of the corn and continue stirring until the corn is heated through.  Serve straight away or have it ready at this point to gently reheat before serving later.
