Calgary Stampede Buttermilk Pancakes
Description
Mom found this in an old magazine and it’s our favorite, regular pancake recipe! Make a double batch and freeze some for another day!
Ingredients
Scale
1 1/2 c. flour AND 3 T. sugar
1 t. EACH baking soda AND baking powder
1/4 t. salt
1 3/4 c. buttermilk AND 1 egg
2 T. melted butter AND 2 t. vanilla
Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients and in another bowl, whisk together the wet. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry and whisk together until well combined – it will still be slightly lumpy – then cook your pancakes in a bit of oil in whatever shape or size you wish – enjoy!
