A classic recipe from a few sources that Brock adjusted slightly into some (heavy duty) cocktail perfection – enjoy!
For 1 cocktail;
2 oz. Apple Jack (apple brandy – good luck finding it! Exclusively in the NE United States – the first distilled spirit in America apparently – we’ve tried Laird’s Straight Apple Brandy and Arkansas Black (from San Francisco))
3/4 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice (though some people use lemon juice)
3/4 oz. grenadine – Brock makes ours
Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice, shake well and strain into a coupe. Garnish with an apple slice.
