Because, why not? I found a great book at the library called, ‘Getaway’, by Renee Erickson, filled with recipes for all of the things one might like to eat and drink when travelling – trying a cocktail that used Calvados was our first choice – enjoy!
For 2 cocktails;
6 oz. Calvados – though another great idea would be to try Apple Jack
2 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 pretty lemon peels or slices for garnish
Chill 2 coupe glasses in the freezer. Measure the 3 ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake very well until everything is as cold as it can get. Strain into your chilled coupe glasses and garnish with lemon.
