Likely based on several variations over the years, this is ‘our’ version – heavy on the alcohol, heavy on the zippy-ness – enjoy!
For 1 cocktail (in our house);
1 oz. Mezcal (pick a smoky one, we like Peloton de la Muerte)
1 oz. silver tequila
1 oz. Cointreau
3/4 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
1 dash Scrappy’s Firewater Bitters
Shake all over ice and then strain into a salt-rimmed rocks or coupe glass. Sip carefully, these beauties have some bite!
