We discovered a few ‘keepers’ in the cocktail department over the holidays – this was discovered on a site called Bevvy and it’s something refreshing to sip, on a chilly afternoon – enjoy!
For one cocktail;
1 oz. Patrón Silver (or another similar tequila)
1/2 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 oz. pomegranate juice
1/4 oz. honey simple syrup (the original calls for straight honey, but we prefer our ‘refreshing drinks’ less sweet)
2 dashes Peychauds bitter
fresh thyme – for crushing into the shaker and for garnish
Prosecco to top off each cocktail
Fill a shaker with ice and use your fingers to rub some fresh thyme together before adding. Add the remaining ingredients, except for the Prosecco, and shake well.
Strain into a coupe glass, top off with Prosecco and garnish with s sprig of fresh thyme.
