  • Author: Meagan

Description

The best name, a personal family favorite and a perfect excuse to celebrate anything and everything.  Found in ‘Bitters’, by Brad Thomas Parsons, this is a wonderful cocktail to make for a few friends because you’re opening a whole bottle of Champagne – enjoy!

Ingredients

Scale

For one drink;

3/4 oz. apple brandy – we love Laird’s Applejack Brandy

3/4 oz. St. Germain elderflower liqueur

1 dash Fee Brothers Whiskey Barrel-Aged Bitters

chilled dry Champagne (or sparkling wine)

grated fresh nutmeg to garnish – this is a must

Instructions

Combine the apple brandy, elderflower liqueur and bitters in a mixing glass filled with and stir several times until chilled.  Strain into a coupe glass, top off with chilled Champagne and garnish with a good grating of fresh nutmeg.  Prepare to make several more.
