Jim’s Autumn Mimosa

  • Author: Meagan

Description

We were served these at a wonderful dinner a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed them so much we decided to make it our Thanksgiving cocktail.  The amounts are dependent on the size of your cocktail glasses as we (Brock) free-poured each one, and the sweetness is completely up to you and the cider and champagne that you choose (we chose dry and dry) – thanks to Jim for sharing the recipe!

Ingredients

Scale

Jim’s Autumn Mimosa

1 part apple cider (we used Strongbow)

2 parts champagne

a splash of apple brandy (Brock’s addition)

boozy cherries for garnish (our addition)

cinnamon sugar to rim each cocktail glass

Instructions

Carefully rim each of your glasses with your cinnamon sugar mix, then eyeball and pour in your ingredients.  Garnish as you wish and enjoy all afternoon!
