Kentucky Mule

  • Author: Meagan

Description

We officially have so many ‘favorite’ cocktails that my aim is now to get them posted…it’s the easiest way to find a recipe after all.  I’m saying that the recipe is courtesy of Knob Creek (they call it a Knob Creek & Ginger Beer), but I’ve also seen it listed as a Nor’easter (often with a splash of maple syrup).  We prefer ours not too sweet, so the recipe below is what made the cut – enjoy!

Ingredients

Scale

Kentucky Mule

2 oz. bourbon

1 T. freshly squeezed lime juice

ginger beer to top it off (we love The Great Jamaican Old Tyme Ginger Beer)

lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

Fill a (short) glass with ice, bourbon and lime juice, then top up with ginger beer and a lime wedge.  Wonderfully simple!
