(45 g) canola oil<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"1\">1<\/span> c. (225 g) cool butter, cut into pieces &#8211; this doesn&#8217;t have to be icy cold<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"0.25\">1\/4<\/span> c. cool water <strong>AND<\/strong> 2 t. vinegar (or fresh lemon juice) &#8211; add to same measuring cup<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t\t\t<hr data-tasty-recipes-customization=\"secondary-color.border-color secondary-color.background-color\">\n\t\n\t\t<div class=\"tasty-recipes-instructions\">\n\t\t<div class=\"tasty-recipes-instructions-header\">\n\t\t\t<h3 id=\"instruction-step-1\">I used my electric mixer!\u00a0 Briefly stir together the flour, sugar and salt in your mixer and then with it running on low, drizzle in the oil.\u00a0 Add in all of the butter and mix on medium speed until the dough is crumbly &#8211; small bits of butter will be visible.<\/p>\n<p id=\"instruction-step-2\">Pour in the water\/vinegar and mix again until the dough <em>just<\/em> comes together.\u00a0 Weigh and portion into 2 even balls, flatten each into a disk wrapped in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour before rolling out your pie, or place each wrapped disk in a Ziploc to freeze for another time.<\/p>\n<p id=\"instruction-step-3\">I <em>always<\/em> keep these handy now in my freezer since I tried this back in June &#8211; and remember,
