t. salt<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"0.5\">1\/2<\/span> c. <strong>EACH<\/strong> whole wheat flour <strong>AND<\/strong> brown sugar<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"0.5\">1\/2<\/span> c. cold, cubed butter + <span data-amount=\"2\">2<\/span> T. butter to blob onto the fruit<\/p>\n<p><em>Garnish<\/em> &#8211; 1\/2 c. + pistachios &#8211; I only had roasted so I threw them on at the end of baking<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t\t\t<hr data-tasty-recipes-customization=\"secondary-color.border-color secondary-color.background-color\">\n\t\n\t\t<div h3-transform.text-transform\">Instructions<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div data-tasty-recipes-customization=\"body-color.color\">\n\t\t\t<p id=\"instruction-step-1\">Preheat the oven to 350 and generously butter a baking dish &#8211; mine is larger than an 8 x 8 but probably not quite a 9 x 13&#8230;I don&#8217;t worry too much with fruit crisps.<\/p>\n<p id=\"instruction-step-2\">In a large bowl, toss together the diced pears, cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, then squeeze in the lemon juice and combine again.<\/p>\n<p id=\"instruction-step-3\">In a separate bowl, whisk together the oats, salt, flour and brown sugar then use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work the half cup of cold butter into the mix until the butter bits are pea-sized.\u00a0 If you have raw pistachios, you can mix them in here if you&#8217;d like.<\/p>\n<p id=\"instruction-step-4\">Scrape the pears into your prepared baking dish, cut the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter into small pieces across the top, then evenly cover all with the topping mix and bake for 40 to 45 minutes until golden and bubbling.\u00a0 As I mentioned, I added the pistachios when it came out of the oven&#8230;don&#8217;t limit yourself, the pistachios in this are really terrific.\u00a0 Serve in big bowls with some cream &#8211; or anything else that you can think
