Bake for 10 minutes and then allow to cool completely.<\/p>\n<p><em>Filling<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"1\">1<\/span> c. freshly squeezed key lime (or regular lime) juice<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"2\">2<\/span> T. cornstarch<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"1\">1<\/span> can (300 mL) sweetened condensed milk<\/p>\n<p>zest of <span data-amount=\"6\">6<\/span> key limes (or <span data-amount=\"1\">1<\/span> regular lime)<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"2\">2<\/span> T. cream\u00a0<strong>AND<\/strong>\u00a02 eggs<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t\t\t<hr data-tasty-recipes-customization=\"secondary-color.border-color secondary-color.background-color\">\n\t\n\t\t<div class=\"tasty-recipes-instructions\">\n\t\t<div class=\"tasty-recipes-instructions-header\">\n\t\t\t<h3 data-tasty-recipes-customization=\"h3-color.color h3-transform.text-transform\">Instructions<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div data-tasty-recipes-customization=\"body-color.color\">\n\t\t\t<p id=\"instruction-step-1\">In a medium pot, off the heat, whisk together the lime juice and cornstarch, then add in the remaining ingredients and mix well. Now bring the mix to a boil over medium heat, stirring and taking care of the bottom of the pot the entire time, until it thickens. This will take a few minutes, be patient, it\u2019s worth it!<\/p>\n<p id=\"instruction-step-2\">Once the filling has thickened, pour it into your prepared and cooled crust and carefully smooth the top. I left mine to cool on the counter for about a half hour and then you need to refrigerate your pie for about 3 hours so that it can completely cool down and set.<\/p>\n<p id=\"instruction-step-3\">When you\u2019re getting ready to serve, whip the cream.<\/p>\n<p id=\"instruction-step-4\">1 3\/4 c. heavy cream\u00a0<strong>AND<\/strong>\u00a01 T. icing sugar\u00a0<strong>AND<\/strong>\u00a01 t. + key lime or lime zest<\/p>\n<p id=\"instruction-step-5\">Beat all ingredients until stiff peaks form and then garnish the pie as you
