minced<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"1\">1<\/span> c. finely chopped Brussels sprouts<\/p>\n<p>kosher salt (about 2 1\/2 teaspoons)<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"2\">2<\/span> cloves of garlic, minced<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"1\">1<\/span> sweet potato (about <span data-amount=\"230\" data-unit=\"g\">230 g<\/span>) &#8211; peeled and grated, you want about 2 cups grated<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"1\">1<\/span> pound ground turkey<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"1\">1<\/span> egg, lightly beaten<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"0.25\">1\/4<\/span> c. dried cranberries &#8211; I used dried cherries and cut them all in half<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"0.5\">1\/2<\/span> t. minced fresh rosemary (I only had dried)<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"1\">1<\/span> t. <strong>EACH<\/strong> minced fresh sage <strong>AND<\/strong> thyme (again, I only had dried)<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"0.25\">1\/4<\/span> t. + freshly ground pepper<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t\t\t<hr data-tasty-recipes-customization=\"secondary-color.border-color secondary-color.background-color\">\n\t\n\t\t<div class=\"tasty-recipes-instructions\">\n\t\t<div class=\"tasty-recipes-instructions-header\">\n\t\t\t<h3 data-tasty-recipes-customization=\"h3-color.color h3-transform.text-transform\">Instructions<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div data-tasty-recipes-customization=\"body-color.color\">\n\t\t\t<p id=\"instruction-step-1\">So&#8230;about that food processor &#8211; you&#8217;re welcome to spend an hour mincing and grating, or you can spend 3 minutes with one of my favorite appliances.<\/p>\n<p id=\"instruction-step-2\">Heat up the oil in a large skillet, pulse the onion, carrot and celery together and then add to the heated pan.\u00a0 Cook and stir for a few minutes until the vegetables are softened, and as they&#8217;re cooking, pulse the Brussels sprouts.\u00a0 Add the chopped sprouts to the cooking vegetables along with a good pinch of salt and cook for another couple of minutes.\u00a0 Add the garlic, stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant, then remove the pan from the heat and transfer it all to a large bowl and leave the mix to cool to room temperature.<\/p>\n<p id=\"instruction-step-3\">Preheat the oven to 400 <em>convection<\/em> and line a couple of large baking sheets with parchment.\u00a0 Switch the blade out of your food processor and grate the potato then add the potato to the cooled cooked vegetables along with the turkey, egg, dried cranberries, spices, a good grinding of pepper and <em>2 teaspoons of salt<\/em>.\u00a0 Gently mix all of the ingredients together, you may need to get in there with your hands.\u00a0 I doubled this recipe and mixing wasn&#8217;t an issue with the larger amount.<\/p>\n<p id=\"instruction-step-4\">Using a tablespoon-sized cookie scoop, scoop heaping mounds out onto your prepared sheets, about 2 inches apart from one another.\u00a0 Squish each one down a bit and spend a couple of minutes fixing them so they&#8217;re mostly round.<\/p>\n<p id=\"instruction-step-5\">Bake for 10 minutes, remove the pan from the oven and carefully flip over each one &#8211; then bake for another 7 minutes.\u00a0 You may need to adjust the cooking time by a minute or 2, but this is exactly the timing that worked for me.\u00a0 The turkey was cooked, the outsides were a bit browned and not a single bite was dry.<\/p>\n<p id=\"instruction-step-6\">Either allow them to cool completely before packaging up for the freezer, or serve them up straight away with your favorite cranberry sauce.\u00a0 When I brought mine out of the freezer I allowed them to thaw in the fridge overnight, then placed them on a parchment lined baking sheet at 350 for about 15 minutes until heated through.\u00a0 So perfect to have handy for the holiday season!<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"tasty-recipes-other-details\"
