salt <strong>AND<\/strong> 7 T. butter, melted<\/p>\n<p>Preheat the oven to 350.\u00a0 Combine all of the crust ingredients in a medium bowl and then press the mix into a 9 1\/2 inch Pyrex pie plate, making sure the sides and bottom are an even thickness \u2013 I use a measuring cup for the pressing, and it helps keep things even.\u00a0 Bake for 10 minutes at 350 and leave to cool completely.<\/p>\n<p><em>Cheesecake Filling<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"1\">1<\/span> package (250 g\/8 oz) cream cheese, room temperature &#8211; (though next time I&#8217;m going to try 2!)<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"1\">1<\/span> can (300 mL) sweetened condensed milk<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"1\">1<\/span> t. <strong>EACH<\/strong> lemon zest <strong>AND<\/strong> vanilla<\/p>\n<p>Beat the cream cheese in your electric mixer for a couple of minutes until fluffy, then slowly beat in the condensed milk and continue to beat until the mix is smooth.\u00a0 Lastly beat in the zest and vanilla, then pour into your cooled crust and freeze for 8 hours (or overnight) &#8211; if it&#8217;s going to be in the freezer for longer, make sure you cover it.<\/p>\n<p><em>Whipped Cream Topping<\/em> &#8211; 1 c. heavy cream <strong>AND<\/strong> 1 t. vanilla <strong>AND<\/strong> 1 T. sugar<\/p>\n<p>Whip all <span data-amount=\"3\">3<\/span> ingredients together until soft peaks form then spread on top of the frozen cheese cake filling and put in back into the freezer to firm up for a couple of hours.\u00a0 This step can either be done well in advance (making sure to cover the pie well), or, right before you plan on serving it so that the whipped cream isn&#8217;t too hard.<\/p>\n<p><em>Strawberry Sauce<\/em> &#8211; make this enough in advance that it can be chilled for serving<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"1\">1<\/span> lb. strawberries, hulled and halved<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"2\">2<\/span> T. <strong>EACH<\/strong> sugar <strong>AND<\/strong> freshly squeezed lemon juice (<span data-amount=\"0.5\">half a<\/span> lemon) <strong>AND<\/strong> water<\/p>\n<p><span data-amount=\"1\">1<\/span> T. cornstarch<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t\t\t<hr data-tasty-recipes-customization=\"secondary-color.border-color secondary-color.background-color\">\n\t\n\t\t<div class=\"tasty-recipes-instructions\">\n\t\t<div class=\"tasty-recipes-instructions-header\">\n\t\t\t<h3 data-tasty-recipes-customization=\"h3-color.color
