It’s going to be a sauce-filled summer because I can’t get enough of America’s Test Kitchen, ‘Just Add Sauce’.  Obviously this is best on a charcoal grilled (Brock) burger, but this sauce would definitely jazz up any everyday sandwich as well.  My only change was to omit the sugar and add a bit more relish – enjoy!

Classic Burger Sauce

1/2 c. mayonnaise

1/4 c. ketchup

1 T. sweet pickle relish

2 t. white vinegar

1 t. freshly ground pepper

Whisk everything together in a small bowl and then refrigerate until you need it.  Allow the sauce to come to room temperature before decorating your burger (no one likes a chilly burger!).
