Sweet Spice-Roasted Nuts

  • Author: Meagan
  • Total Time: 20 Minutes

Description

Borrowed from Sabrina Ghayour’s book, ‘Sirocco’, this is another tasty nut-snack that no one will be able to leave alone!

Ingredients

Scale

Sweet Spice-Roasted Nuts

1 c. EACH raw macadamias, raw cashews AND raw almonds

4 T. EACH melted butter AND brown sugar

juice from half of a lemon

2 T. Aleppo pepper

2 t. cinnamon

1 t. EACH coriander AND kosher salt

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 and line a large baking sheet with parchment.  Combine the nuts and place them on the prepared sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

As the nuts are baking, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, lemon juice and spices in a large bowl and then when the nuts are toasted, add them all into the mix and combine until all are well coated.  Scoop the coated nuts back onto the parchment lined baking sheet and roast for 5 minutes, then remove the pan from the oven, give the nuts a stir, and then roast for a final 5 minutes.

Allow the nuts to cool slightly before serving or leave them to cool completely and store in a tight container for later – enjoy!
